Summers Media Enterprises welcomes partnerships with organizations that value thoughtful, well-researched storytelling rooted in local history and cultural heritage.
Whether you're a museum, historical society, tourism board, school system, nonprofit, or creative collaborator, Summers Media Enterprises (SME) offers a range of opportunities, including:
• Educational Workshops & Guest Speaking Presentations for schools, civic groups, church groups, libraries, historical organizations, or community events—focused on historical storytelling, regional heritage, and the creative process behind SME’s podcasts.
• Collaborative Projects Joint initiatives with museums, archives, universities, tourism departments, or public history organizations to bring meaningful stories to wider audiences.
These may include special events, community programs, guest appearances, or co-hosted activities that align with SME’s mission.
• For Businesses & Tourism Partners SME is occasionally available for partnerships that support community history, heritage tourism, and public programming. These may include historical talks, special events, limited guest sessions, or other collaborative opportunities where SME’s storytelling expertise complements local initiatives.
(SME does not create custom sponsored episodes or contract-based content.)
Speaking Engagements & Honorariums
SME offers a limited number of speaking engagements each year for schools, historical organizations, civic groups, and community events. These presentations blend vivid storytelling with careful research and are tailored to fit the needs of your audience.
All speaking engagements require the following:
An honorarium (based on event length and preparation)
Travel reimbursement (for travel more than 25 miles)
Lodging for overnight events (as required)
Per diem for meals
These requirements ensure events are financially feasible and allow SME to continue producing high-quality historical content. Full details are available on our Speaking Engagements page.
Because SME maintains an active production schedule for our ongoing podcast series, availability for external projects is limited. All collaborations are reviewed on a case-by-case basis to ensure we can give each partnership the time and quality it deserves.
